The Ain-Diab Circuit lay on the coast southwest of Casablanca, Morocco, built from existing roads through the Sidi Abderrahman forest. It hosted the 1958 Moroccan Grand Prix, the only World Championship round ever held in Morocco and the final race of that season. The event was marred by the fatal accident of Vanwall driver Stuart Lewis-Evans, and it saw Mike Hawthorn clinch the title to become the first British World Champion.
