It started because you asked.
You wanted to understand Formula 1 — and Rish, your nephew, already loves it; he keeps a small, hand-made book of all his racing heroes, their names set down in careful letters. So I built this for you: somewhere to learn the sport from the beginning, at your own pace — its history, its language, the whole arc from 1950 to now — so that the next time he talks about racing, you can talk back, and the two of you grow closer over it.
Every era, every circuit, every name here is kept plainly and without shouting, so the learning is easy and the bond is the point.
So all of it is really just a long way of saying: I wanted you and Rish to have this, Jo.
Learn it for him — and, a little selfishly, for me. There is nothing I like more than watching you get curious about something new.
