Circuit Bremgarten was located in a forest near Bern, Switzerland, and hosted the Swiss Grand Prix as a World Championship round from 1950 to 1954. Its tree-lined roads, changing surfaces and dappled light under the canopy made it a fast but hazardous track. Switzerland's ban on circuit racing, imposed after the 1955 Le Mans disaster, ended motor racing at Bremgarten.
