Istanbul Park, in Turkey, was designed by Hermann Tilke and hosted the Turkish Grand Prix from 2005. It runs anti-clockwise and is famous for the fast, multi-apex Turn 8.

The sharp downhill left-hander right after the front straight, nicknamed the Turkish Corkscrew for Laguna Seca. It is the first braking zone of the lap and a frequent first-lap contact point.
