Kyalami is a permanent circuit near Midrand, north of Johannesburg, South Africa. It hosted the South African Grand Prix from 1967 to 1985 and again in 1992 and 1993, originally as one of the fastest circuits on the calendar, with corners such as Sunset Bend, before a shorter, tighter layout replaced the original. The 1977 race is remembered for the fatal accident involving driver Tom Pryce and a marshal.
