The Caesars Palace Grand Prix circuit was a temporary track laid out in the car park of the Caesars Palace hotel and casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, hosting Formula 1 in 1981 and 1982 only. Run counter-clockwise, the flat and tight layout was widely criticised by drivers as disorienting despite its wide run-off. Nelson Piquet clinched his first World Championship there in 1981; this is distinct from the modern Las Vegas Strip Circuit.
