The Long Beach street circuit runs through the city streets of Long Beach, California, near the Port of Long Beach south of Los Angeles. It hosted Formula 1 as the United States Grand Prix West from 1976 to 1983. Praised for its scenic waterfront setting but rough on machinery, it continues today as home to the IndyCar Grand Prix of Long Beach.
