The Autódromo Internacional do Algarve at Portimão, Portugal, is a modern circuit of dramatic elevation change and blind crests that hosted the Portuguese Grand Prix in 2020 and 2021.

The downhill braking right off the main straight and the lap's overtaking hotspot; Hamilton passed Valtteri Bottas around the outside here for the lead on lap 20 of 2021, and Max Verstappen passed Hamilton here on lap 7.
